For my poster, I have chosen to do a Stocking Stuffers Christmas Party. People will have the opportunity to volunteer their time stuffing stockings for those who cannot provide many Christmas presents to their families. These donated gifts will bring joy to those in need during Christmas time. The event will include enjoyable festive activities to celebrate the holidays including a hot chocolate bar, building gingerbread houses, and an ornament-making station. The event will end with a Christmas tree lighting. I included a stocking graphic as the main event is stuffing stockings. As I developed my thumbnail sketches and rough sketches, that helped me organize my thoughts and design. I was able to sketch out all my designs. The rough sketches allowed me to choose the best thumbnail sketch and develop my idea further. Moving on to the comp phase of this project, I incorporate color and texture into my poster and social media designs. I started to add different fonts, graphics, and colors. As I start to design my final poster and social media designs, I will take all of my ideas from the comp phase and develop one layout for each. I will combine my ideas, fonts, colors, and textures.
